  • 1/3 of recipe of Classic Sweet Dough
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Roll the dough into a 16-inch by 9-inch rectangle.
  3. Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Spread the rectangle of dough with 2 tablespoons butter, and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture spreading to the edges.
  5. Roll the dough into a cylinder. Slice into16 1” strips. 

  6. Pull and overlap the swirl exposing some of the cinnamon. Place the rolls on a lightly greased baking pan. Sprinkle rolls with chopped nuts.

  7. Cover and let rise until almost double, about 45 minutes. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
