- 1/3 of recipe of Classic Sweet Dough
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons softened butter
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Roll the dough into a 16-inch by 9-inch rectangle.
Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
Spread the rectangle of dough with 2 tablespoons butter, and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture spreading to the edges.
Roll the dough into a cylinder. Slice into16 1” strips.
Pull and overlap the swirl exposing some of the cinnamon. Place the rolls on a lightly greased baking pan. Sprinkle rolls with chopped nuts.
Cover and let rise until almost double, about 45 minutes. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
