Apples and Pumpkins and Bourbon, Oh My!

IMG_0696A few weeks ago, I was given a challenge to provide apple/pumpkin/bourbon fall dishes. I was not sure at first if I would be able to step up to the challenge. Then I remembered, I like challenges! I can do this!

Intro Post 2I started slicing and dicing (throwing out and starting over) and finally came up with a few recipes that I think you will like. As always, I looked to my fall garden, went to a nearby orchard, and visited Marker’s Mark for inspiration (and to buy the hooch) and am ready to bring you a month of mouth-watering fall dishes just in time for the holidays.

Exciting news…

Throughout the month of October, I will be introducing you to three amazing home chefs. I am honored to be sharing my posts with some of the most talented individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting online. They are my inspiration and the measuring stick I hold myself up to.

Each one will bring their unique style and talents: beautiful desserts, unbelievably creative dishes, and phenomenal presentations. I cannot thank them enough for giving me their time and sharing their recipes with us here on The Wacky Spoon! Please take a moment to check out their sites. I know you will fall in love with them as I have.

And the guests are:
